Advent Candle Decoration – zig zag candle decoration. How could you share God’s Christmas Light? In our smile and in our welcome,in the ways that we make people feel, in our gifts and in our thank you’s, in the moments we make Christmas real.

J is for Jesus Candy Cane – Whose birth do we celebrate at Christmas, do we sometimes forget? how will this decoration remind you?


Christmas Story poem bracelet – read the poem and make the special bracelet to tell the Christmas story.

Edible Candle – Decorate the biscuit with the shape of a candle – How could you share God’s Christmas Light? In our parties and nativities, in preparing and sharing our meals, in the shops and in the hospitals, in the places we make Christmas real.



Dancing Cranberries – watch the cranberries in lemonade going up and down – find out the science of the ups and downs of the cranberries, who might be feeling down at Christmas, how could you help them?

Balancing Angels and Doves – experiment with changing the centre of gravity of the angel or dove – do you ever feel a bit wobbly or off balance? Don’t be afraid, the angels say. You’re not alone the angels say.

God Given Gift Box – Christian Aid are helping women use their God given gifts to escape poverty. Use your God given gifts to create a beautiful gift box. You can help with your prayers and write it inside your box or with your money and put it in the money box.



Nativity Stable – Pick up a toy for a cuddle and read the blessing/ have the blessing read to you.


Christmas Card Making – Make Reindeer and Star cards – Where do you put your Christmas Cards? who do you think likes to get real handmade cards the most? who will you give yours to?

Christmas Angels– Write name on the back, decorate, then fold – Seeing an angel was surprising or frightening, they often said “do not be afraid”. What can you do if you feel afraid or surprised?
