The Bankfoot Church Centre, Tulliebelton Road is used 7 days a week by people of all ages in our community from children enjoying the soft play area to people in the elderly day care lounge, children in the after school club and adults in various clubs and societies. When the church centre was constructed our motto was “Church and Community Building Together” and it really is our prayer that this building will provide facilities for everyone in our community; a place of Worship, a focus of village life, a place where people will reach across generations to help, support and encourage one another…… and that is Church.
The Bankfoot Church Centre was opened on 26 October 2008 which began a new chapter in our story following the fire on 25 February 2004 which completely destroyed the old church building, which had stood on the hill since 1812. This Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11 encouraged us “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future.” It can be found on the stone at the front door.
