Thank you to everyone who lent or donated things, or joined in with Messy Church activities and creativity last week. Our next Messy Church will be Sunday 8th December from 3pm and finishing with a family tea at 5pm. Please pass the invitation on.

Macmillan Coffee Morning and Afternoon There are several opportunities to support Macmillan by drinking coffee, making and eating cake and giving donations to a great cause. Friday 20th September in Stanley Village Hall 10.30-12, the Stanley Health walk will take place at 10am from Stanley Store and finish at the coffee morning if you would like to work up an appetite first. Then on Friday 27th September in Luncarty Church Centre at 2.30pm in partnership with Honeypot Nursery.

Our Daily Bread Cafe in Bankfoot Church Centre is doing a soup and sweet lunch Wednesday 25th September from 12 o’clock only £5.

The Guild and Faith in Older People conference in Edinburgh, ‘One-Step-at-a-Time- Building a supportive environment for people with dementia and their families in church communities’ will be held on Tuesday 17th September 2019 10am at The Place, York Place, Edinburgh. Fiona will be giving a presentation on what we are doing here. www.faithinolderpeople.org.uk

Minibus Picnics to Taymount Woods Tuesday 24th September and Cycling without age trishaw rides in Taymount Woods Wednesday 25th September. Please see Fiona if you are interested in either of these special opportunities to enjoy a free trip in to the woodlands.

The Wednesday Club Open Meeting, Bankfoot Church Centre, 11th September, 2pm. The guest speaker will be a representative from Balfour Beattie who will bring us up to date on the A9 dualling.

The foodbank currently needs: UHT long-life milk, long life cartons of fruit juice, pasta meals, pasta sauce and Jam.  Thank you.
